Must be the music

You know, the funny thing about planning your own wedding, is you really start noticing the details.

For instance, I can't tell you what the flowers looked like at ANY wedding I have been to (except for Josh and Tash, who had this whole lemon/yellow theme going on that is seared into my brain) but now, I think about it. I notice it.

I think about everything. Like chair covers. Like bathroom mints.

And ceremony music.

"Here comes the bride?" "Pachabel canon?" whatto walk down the aisle too ... and just how should that music be played?

In a church, that question is pretty easily answered. But I am not in a church. (sigh) I am in a garden.

I thought about it a lot, and decided on hiring a harpist.

Her name is Barbara, and she is very nice. (pic above is not of her - it's just some random couple I found on google images when I googled "lovely wedding harp." Oh yeah.)

So I sent her my deposit, and she will check in with me as the wedding draws nigh, to go over music choices and all that.

I wonder if she does "Baby Got Back" on harp?

Over the top? Ok.
