Ed had a man shower

So I got a strange call from Ed Wednesday afternoon.

"They threw me a shower today at work," he said.

"Huh?"

Yeah. Apparently at Ed's firm, they throw a shower whenever someone is getting married or expecting a baby - no matter what the gender. It was a combined event for Ed and his co-worker Jeremy - who is expecting his first baby any day now.


I suppose that paper bell necklace thing Ed was forced to wear is akin to the "bow hat" us brides have to wear.

It was nice, and everyone pitched in to get us a hefty Target gift card.

Works for me - bring on the man shower.
